Welcome to our new site. The site is still under construction and hopefully will be added to weekly. Feel free to browse around.
This website will provide information on cycling in Danville, Virginia and the surrounding areas.
Think about safety when riding.....always wear a helmet.....it could save your life!
Ride Schedule

Tuesday: Start at 5:30 PM, leave from YMCA on Main Street. Ride will be 30-35 miles at a easy pace. All welcome.
Ride Leader: Sherman England. Call 822-2014 for ride information

Wednesday: 'Team E'  rides on Wednesday mornings. The ride usually starts at 8:30 AM from Sacred Heart School, and as the name implies is primarily for the ladies.  Ride length is fairly short, 15 to 25 miles and the pace is 'conversational'. No one is dropped and all levels are welcome. Please, ladies only, gentlemen by invitation.

Thursday: Start at 5:30 PM, leave from YMCA on Main Street. Ride will be 30-35 miles at a easy pace. All welcome.

Friday: Start time will vary, call for time. Pace -  15 to 16 mph, 18 to 29 miles, routes will vary.
Ride leader: Kim Grossman, call 792-5328.

Saturday: Start time will vary, usually 10:00 or 10:30. Pace  ave. 13-16mph. Routes will vary according to the group, usually between 40 and 60 miles. No one gets dropped.
Ride leader: Malcolm Mallery. Call 799-1018 for ride information.  

Sunday: Start time will vary, usually 10:00 or 10:30. Pace varies with group. Usually a recovery ride from Saturday's outing. Routes will vary according to the group.

Special Note: Keep in mind the Tour de Habitat - Charity Bike Ride sponsored by Danville Outdoor Recreation and Habitat for Humanity. The event will be Saturday, September 29th, 2007.
